Mackinaw City is one of the most historic locations on the Great Lakes. Located on the Straights of Mackinaw, at the northern tip of the Lower Peninsula. The Mackinaw Bridge (shown above) stretches 5 miles across to the Upper Peninsula and also separates Lake Huron and Lake Michigan.
